Conspiracy Theories: Russia, Salisbury, Brexit, Election engineering and Cambridge Analytica

O.K. now I'm worried. I have never been one that believes in conspiracies, but I did, and do believe that activities of official/ unofficial state sanctioned bodies are sometimes illegal and not always for the good of the people at large. By people I include not just the citizens of the nation but also humanity itself.

As much as they want to claim that their activities are in the interest of the nation, they are very, very dangerous. As such they should be stopped but for one single irrefutable fact. As with nuclear weapons, if only one side had them the the world as a whole would be a far more dangerous place to live in, and so I stay silent and life goes on.

But now look at world news in the light of the new things we are learning. The facts we know are listed below. Those in italics represent my suppositions, convergent/ divergent thinking and conclusions.

  1. On Nov. 8, 2016, against all odds, Donald Trump was elected 45th President of the United States. He was inaugurated on Jan. 20, 2017

  2. On Jun.23, 2016, again against all odds, the UK voted to leave the European Union. This act came to be known as Brexit.

  3. We know that Dr. Alexsandr Kogan is a Cambridge researcher and also an associate professor at the university of St. Petersburg. In his own words " My lab investigates the prosociality and well-being from biological, psychological, and cross-cultural perspectives. In particular, we are highly interested in cooperation, trust, altruism, positive emotions, close relationships, happiness, physical and mental health, and cross-cultural differences. We employ methodology combining genetics, physiology, pharmacology, surveys, event-sampling, and large scale datasets. " The good doctor is accused of illegally harvesting Facebook information for his own use over and above the academic permission he had.

  4. The fact of his Russian connection is only just now being made known to the public domain, and was kept from the colleagues of Dr. Alexsandr, although his department head knew.

  5. Cambridge Analytica is a company created in 2013 as an offshoot of its British parent company SCL Group to participate in American politics, that offers services to businesses and political parties who want to “change audience behaviour”. It claims to be able to analyse huge amounts of consumer data and combine that with behavioral science to identify people who organisations can target with marketing material.

  6. Although denied, facts have revealed that there is some sort of connection between Analytica and Steve Banion (Trump's strategic election adviser), the Russian oil and gas giant, Lukoil (2014), Brexit (Cambridge Analytica appeared in the submission document that Leave. EU had filed when it was trying to become the official leave campaign, a position later filled by the Boris Johnson-backed Vote Leave. That public document notes Cambridge Analytica as a “strategic partner”

  7. We know that in a democracy, at the time of elections anybody is allowed to campaign for anyone standing in the election. But what if this was done secretly or subliminally? What if someone(s) is tampering with the election and actually succeeded in swaying the vote in one direction of the other? What if someone is preying on our innermost fears to achieve their own ends?

  8. In all probability this is illegal, and certainly immoral. If this is done by foreign powers we are talking war, and if it is found to have connections to nationals , we are talking treason.

  9. If the actual beneficiary doesn't know about it, does that make it OK? We know it would in effect, delegitimize the vote but would that be a reason to repeat the process?

  10. All of the above are (more or less) facts that are know. So let's talk Salisbury. A second-hand spy that was captured and released on exchange gets murdered on British soil by highly suspect means. The means themselves are, so we are told, only available in the Russia although we now know that some of the creators live in the UK and Porton Down, a British world class chemical facility had a sample.

  11. Any way you look at it, this incident is not to the advantage Vladimir Putin, the main suspect. He is hosting this year's World cup, a prestigious event he himself promoted to boost Russia's visibility on the world stage; and now we are asked to believe on the eve of his own election, to believe he had a sudden case of narcissistic showiness, by blatantly murdering someone of little consequence in a way that points all the evidence to himself. -OR- This is not the real explanation.

And while you’re there, consider signing the petition for the return of the final Brexit vote to the people. As things stand now, the only way to resolve this is to put the question back to the people. Give them 3 choices. It is NOT a referendum, which by definition is binary.

  1. Accept the negotiated deal and leave in an orderly fashion

  2. Refuse the deal and just leave, taking all the consequences

  3. Refuse both options as being too costly and REVOKE article 50.

The man in the photo is Lord Kerr. He wrote the Article 50, never once thinking it was his own team that would invoke it.

Lord Kerr, a former UK ambassador to the

E.U, said Brexiters in May’s cabinet were suggesting Brexit was irreversible and thereby misleading the public.

The former diplomat says the UK could opt to reverse Brexit up to the moment we leave, even if a date for the country’s departure from European Union were added to the withdrawal bill, as Theresa May plans.

SIGN THE PETITION DEMANDING THE FINAL VOTE BE RETURNED TO THE PEOPLE. If there is no decisive winner (50%+) on the first round, eliminate the lowest score and progress to a second round of voting and repeat.

This is the only way to truly know what the people want and to unite the country again. Everybody, knowing the consequences, takes an informed decision. These are the options, this is the price! - DECIDE -.

Ask yourselves, do you really trust a politician, many of whom take donations from the Russians , to take what is almost certainly the most important decision of your and YOUR CHILDRENS' lives for you?

Tell your friends. Tell your family. Tell your fellow students. This sale is only on until March 29th, 2019. (Actually, if a transition period is negotiated it could be longer but I wouldn't risk it). Before Mar 29th 2019, even the EU can't stop a reversal. After that who knows) Vote the way you think and then its in the lap of the gods!
